The strength of Cape Town Data (CTD) is its ability to deliver a comprehensive service at very competitive prices as it functions in close collaboration with the clinical expertise of Tiervlei Trial Centre (TTC). CTD is flexible to accommodate the needs of smaller and larger studies.

Quality, accurate and timeous collection, processing and reporting of clinical trial data according to FDA CFR 21 part 11 requirements and International Conference of Harmonization Guidelines.

We are currently busy with our our thirtieth successful data management project and are very excited about the future of CTD. We have already secured data management projects for the 2010 calendar year.

Founded on 10 April 2006 by Dr Haylene Nell, Christo Fourie and Jaco Swart, CTD evolved as an organization through the need for cost effective and coordinated data management by an established clinical trial site, Tiervlei Trial Centre CC (TTC).

Cape Town Data (CTD) functions in collaboration with TTC, a large and active clinical trial centre. Although TTC has the capacity and expertise to deliver the entire clinical trial process namely: protocol design, regulatory and ethics submissions, CRF design, clinical conduct of study, data capture, statistical analysis and clinical report writing, TTC’s primary focus is the clinical conduct of trials. The need for a dedicated Data Management Group was recognized and as a result CTD was founded.

We are currently busy with our thirtieth successful data management project. CTD is in the fortunate position to be able to tap the immense experience of the TTC team. We are an experienced site and have been accredited by sponsor and regulatory (FDA) audits.
